Do your cleaners undergo background checks?
Yes. Cleaning staff undergo Ministry of Justice criminal-record checks before being assigned to client sites. Staff are also trained in site security, chemical handling and hygiene procedures. Where applicable, your assigned cleaner is introduced before the service begins. Information about staff-vetting procedures is available on request.
Do you supply cleaning products and equipment?
Yes. Clean Planet Wellington provides the cleaning equipment and products required for the agreed service. You do not need to purchase, store or maintain cleaning equipment. We use Sensitive Choice-approved products where suitable for the site. Any specific requirements, including fragrance-free products, specialised disinfection or restricted chemical lists, are documented during the site visit.
How quickly can a commercial cleaning contract start in Wellington?

Do you carry public liability insurance?
Yes. Clean Planet Wellington carries comprehensive public liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request for corporate clients, schools, government facilities, and any business that requires proof of coverage for their supplier approval process. Mohan visits your premises, walks through every area, and identifies your specific cleaning requirements — floor types, bathroom count, security requirements, frequency, and any areas of concern. That information is used to build a written cleaning checklist specific to your site and a fixed monthly price. The visit takes 15–20 minutes. There's no obligation to proceed. Most Wellington businesses receive a written proposal within one business day of the site visit.
